I remember reading this book in the 5th grade. It was assigned to us and usually I don't think I will enjoy the books that are assigned to us as a class grade, but this is one of my favorite books ever. I find this to be a beautiful story and the main character, Maniac Magee, to be one of the strongest kids I know, fictional of course.
